Back in 1990 an event like this in South Africa would have had the "Thought Police" storming the establishment and arresting everyone in sight. So we had to cross our borders into neighbouring Lesotho where we could witness the annual Miss Body Beautiful Competition. Things have changed a lot in sunny South Africa, but this trip was a blast for me and some of my mates. I rented a really good 35mm camera - digital was only a dream then - and started flashing away. The girls who took part would sun themselves during the day by the hotel pool and strut their stuff in the evenings on the stage. This series is of a few different girls both by the pool and on the stage. The only thing that has stayed the same over the years is the prime beauty of South African girls.
