We have our everyday "drivers" and we also have a couple of "play" cars ( both muscle, one "modern" and one "classic") that only come out when we're in the mood and the weather is nice. These photos were taken on an early winter's day that was unseasonably warm. We took a drive up to a small restaurant in the foothills for breakfast. It had warmed up a bit by the time we were ready for the return trip so we dropped the top and were lucky enough to find a nice little out of the way place to shoot these pictures.Oh yes, the car! This one is my modern muscle "baby". A 2002 Camaro SS 35th Anniversary Edition convertible with a 6 speed that just rolled over the 4000 mile mark on this outing (yes only 4K miles!). 3000 of these special editions were made, and if I remember right, only 600 were convertibles with the manual transmission. We bought it believing it to be the last of the breed, but now it looks like the Camaro is on track to be released again in 2009...I'll keep my fingers crossed because a girl can never have enough toys!
