I know monochrome is not the first choice of some people but, under the right circumstances, it can be a great effect.
On this occasion, the day was not brilliant, a little o/cast.......so it suited B/W.

Not a lot to say about these. We grabbed the camera, went out into the yard, onto the old picnic table ( which is a great height to shoot pics at ) and fired away.
The top of the table needs sanding from time to time because of splinters!
Because we've had so much rain lately the biting bugs were having a field day. It was a quick shoot!

The monochrome photos make a an aesthetic variety. Nice. I've seen sepia used. Also a nice touch. Some digital cameras have blue tone. Try that as well.
