    • I am really excited about seeing this film, having found Garland Waller's prior films so outstanding. Garland has been exposing the unjustices in the family courts across America where judges, custody evaluators and others connected with the courts have been unwilling to believe allegations of abuse against women and children, and actually putting many of the children in their fathers' custody. Despite men's claims that they are discriminated against in child custody disputes, Garland Waller and Barry Nolan (and various academics, including ones funded by the U.S. Department of Justice) find that is is mothers who experience gender bias in the family courts, leaving them and their children inadequately, and often completely unprotected. We see this with more and more accounts in the press
    • Truly great article. I always joke about Crossfit to my lifting friends. But when I am serious, in the hands of well intentioned and very well educated trainers it can be a great tool to introducing people to fitness AND to an assortment of various movements used in all athletic fields, since afterall it tries to dabble in just about everything lol. There's one where I live, and I know the trainers there. A person can go in, get coached in a variety of movements while receiving special mobility workouts to fine-tune their form, and then after a while decide "hey, this is enough for me and I'm going to stick with this," or "you know, I like deadlifting and squatting; maybe I'll go into powerlifting," or "hey, I want to have a bigger C&J and snatch, and I don't care about anything else" and
    • Hi all
Just found this site and have been very impressed with the ideas and information gathered. My complete rupture of the right AT occured whilst playing basketball on march 6 and was operated on march 8. I am 38 yo mum with two kids (3 and 1 year old) so not much time to sit on couch and ring the bell. Have been lucky to have good family support but have been FWB since around 4 weeks as it is the only way to get some things done (also no pain). My Doc really didn't give me that much info regarding my recovery but the protocol has been plaster splint 2 weeks then boot for 6 weeks with crutches as needed. Each week the boot heel is reduced. I am now 5 weeks post op and up to date have been a bit confused about what I should and shouldn't be doing. Reading your comments has made me f
