• Rose Transparent When Wet?
When I bought this outfit the shop assistant suggested that I wear skin colored underwear as the material was quite see through and colored panties and bra would be too noticeable. On our recent vacation, I decided that I would take her advice and wear something really skin colored - that is I would wear no underwear at all. *LOL* Well all went well, we dined and danced, and the material was cool and very light to wear. The trouble started as we walked back to our bungalow. It began to rain, and although it was a typical tropical downpour and was over in minutes, it left me soaking wet. Suddenly, it seemed to me, that the material was completely see through! Thorn was saying that it was not that bad, but from the looks I was getting I knew that he was understating my degree of exposure. By the time we got back to our room the material had dried somewhat. As I wanted to have some idea what it actually looked like when wet I decided to jump under the shower. I asked Thorn to take a picture so I would be able to see for myself, and of course he hung around and kept shooting as usual. As you can observe, when wet, that outfit left very little to the imagination, and...... I will be very sure to check the weather forecast before I wear it again!
  • Rose's Rhapsody in White
It was a scorching 105 degree day when we found this lovely spot just down stream from the dam. The place was just so tranquil with the sounds of the water rushing down the spillway, the birds in the trees, the immense blue sky above and all that beautiful sun beating down on my skin! While lying down in the water, with my ears below the surface, I was amazed at the symphony of sounds I could hear.... Thorn suggested that Handel's famous 'Water Music' was probably inspired by the same experience, but admitted that seeing me laying there gave him a different kind of inspiration!! ('Ain't he sweet!!'). Covering my head with the material created kind of a cocoon, and seemed to heighten the feeling of being totally at peace with nature. A feeling reinforced when a dragonfly landed on me which can be seen in one of the pictures. I am glad we had the camera and took these pictures as I will now have a beautiful warm place to remember when winter is upon us. I hope that come winter thinking of days like these will do the same for you.
  • Rose Caught In The Net
This Net Dress was a Christmas gift from Thorn. Luckily he gave it to me when we were alone, because it would have been difficult to explain to the kids why Santa had left a dress like this for me ! Thorn of course insisted I would get a lot of wear out of it - talk about wishful thinking!! Still, I thought I could wear it when just lounging around on vacation or at the beach over a bikini. Funny thing is that I have yet to even try it on over a bikini. For some reason Thorn seems to prefer it this way - and even more when it is Wet.
