Fantasy Fest is a two week festival held at the end of October every year in Key West. The first week is very low key, starting with the Goombay Festival and crowning of the King and Queen of Fantasy Fest. (Of course being Key West there may be a Queen and Queen) The King and Queen are chosen by secret ballot, but in order to vote you have to donate to a charity. This year proceeds went to an AIDS charity. Ballots were $5 each (and this is the best part for us Floridians) there's no limit on how many times you can vote!!! Pdpmema
