This is my first contribution. New Years 1999. Lots of and New Years activities inspired my friends and I to parade a 2.45lb Armour Summer Sausage down Bourbon Street as though it was the torch from the Statue of Liberty. We are not sure if anything like this has ever been done before. It certainly seemed original at the time. It turns out that many enebriated individuals wanted to partake of Sammie the Summe Sausage and have their pictures taken with "him". So we obliged. Here are the results.....PDPMEA...Thanks.....
