I ran a weblog while I was in Kuwait last year. It got semi-famous and this lovely Italian kitty found it and wrote to me. It started out as an series of emails and turned into exchanging naughty pictures and then into her visiting California twice. Thanks for being stupid Saddam! I couldn't have done it without you!
