Rose - a la High Chaparral – Part 1 The more I looked at these pictures, the more I was reminded of the old TV Western 'High Chaparral'. I recently saw something about the show and I was struck by Linda Cristal's aristocratic, passionate and haughty portrayal of the main female character Victoria Montoya Cannon. I loved the way she stood with hands on her hips, with her full skirt flaring around her, as she stood up to her domineering husband Big John Cannon. Okay, I guess the see through skirt and the blonde hair are a bit of artistic license, but the hat and boots are almost perfect!! *LOL* I hope that for those who remember the TV show these pictures tap into some pleasant memories, and for those who don't ... well, I hope you like them anyway.
