As we approached the Imperial Sand Dunes in Southern California, "Nirvana" wanted to stretch her legs, so we stopped for a few pics. The academy award nominated movie "The Flight of the Phoenix" was filmed here 52 years ago, the same year Nirvana was born. For that reason alone, she said "this beautiful place deserves a photoshoot"...so here it is for all to enjoy!
