The history and beauty of the desert horizon made me decide to stop and stretch my legs for a nude walk. I'm just off US Highway 54 about 25 miles east of the "Trinity" test site in New Mexico where the world's first atomic bomb was detonated in 1945. This dirt road leads directly to the "Trinity" site and it's still monitored by military personnel so I couldn't linger very long. I wonder if motorists driving along the highway behind me realize there's some interesting history and even more "scenic views" on the horizon?
