Thank you all for leaving us such wonderful comments last month on our first set of pictures from the Nevada desert. We wanted to share a few more pictures with you that we took later that day. The morning had grown late (and hot!) so we decided to leave and continue on our journey around Lake Mead, the Hoover Damn, and a few other sights around the area. As we headed back in towards the city limits, we decided to stop off once more at the same location that we had visited earlier that morning. The late afternoon sun was still extremely hot, but it also cast some interesting shadows on me. ;-)
