I am bisexual by nature although not "girly" in practice but have a more fem or mom outlook, Ms. K laughs that I have all the female stereotypes made popular in TicTocs (you know the ones "go ahead its 'fine")! Ms. K on the other hand has more of a male or dad outlook... it works for us! I had a couple boyfriends as a teen, sadly, regrettably there was no such thing as holding hands in the mall or in a movie theater in those days, mostly just "hanging out" with a special guy friend. I had a number of girlfriends too (although I will be the first to admit having a boyfriend involved about a tenth the drama and what's more, nobody ever gave a second thought to same sex sleepovers). However, in the early 1980's to be out as bisexual or worse as gay was straight up social suicide at best and quite possibly physicallly dangerous. While still not perfect it warms my heart to appreciate the progress that has been made in my lifetime! In my case the love of my life just happened to be a girl, Ms. K (good with me being Bi from the start) in a stroke of good fortune, we have been married for over 40 years, loving sexual expression has always been our groove, so no surprise we made and raised 7 kids to respectable adulthood! None-the-less, I still appreciate both sides of the salad bar! It is somewhat ironic that with guys I prefer to (vers) bottom but playing for "team hetero", by definition, all I can do is top! To me, the human form in all its variation is beautiful and worthy of appreciation and affirmation! What's more, I think giving a word or two of kindness and appreciation to one another, especially at a time of vulnerability is particularly special!
